Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was interviewed by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications through the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: "It is important that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be hazardous.
"These kinds of items being offered, usually online, have actually undergone no quality control and there can be no warranty about their security.
"You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not know the effect drugs like this might have on your health."
